Question:

Dear Donna,

How difficult it is to get a job at a place like Disney World or Sea World? What is the pay like? I have 25 years of emergency department experience and about nine years of travel nurse experience. I am presently working in a new, freestanding emergency department. I like my job, but I have always wondered what it would be like to work at an amusement park.

Dear Rebecca,

It is not necessarily hard to get hired by one of these facilities. It would mostly just depend on who has an opening. Your ED background is ideal for this type of work. Pay varies from place to place. Contact any organization you’re interested in working for.
